Hawley, Pa. -

Two teenagers were killed, another badly injured and a fourth was led away in handcuffs for driving under the influence after a one-car accident along Route 590. And it all happened in front students at Wallenpaupack Area High School Thursday morning.

That eye opening message about the dangers of drinking and driving was the whole purpose of the Mock Crash which simulated the deaths of Tiffany Berger and Tim Silsby after Ryan McCullough lost control of his car on the way home from an after prom party. Ashley Aul played the injured student.

The WAHS SADD club held the mock car crash as part its activities leading up to the WAHS Prom this Sunday. Every student attending the Prom had to attend a meeting on the dangers of drinking and driving and the mock car crash.

EMS volunteers from Hawley and Tafton fire companies the Geisinger LifeFlight helicopter  took part in the scenario.
