PA State Police have identified the driver of a 1999 Kia Sephia Sedan who was killed in a one vehicle accident on Milford Road (SR 2001) April 16.

State Police Trooper John Youngblood said the driver was 24-year-old Jennifer Kirkland of Dingmans Ferry. Kirkland was killed after her car left the road, hit a pole and caught fire.

Youngblood said Kirkland’s car was heading south at 11:30 pm about .6 miles south of Weber Road when the car crossed into the northbound lane and then left the roadway where it struck a tree and caught fire.

Police said the car sustained damage to the front end and the engine and occupant compartments sustained extensive fire damage.
