A Memorial Mass will be held for Veronica Simonson, Lackawaxen, who died February 7, 2008 in the Wayne Memorial Hospital after an illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Simonson.

Born in Bloomington Twp., NJ, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Martha Smith Whritenour. She was of a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Shohola.

Surviving are a brother, Roger and a sister, Pauline both West Milford, NJ.

Also preceding her in death are two brothers and five sisters.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated today, Saturday, February 23 at 10 am in St. Ann’s Church, 123 Richardson Ave., Shohola.
