Services were held for Junior W. Joe Morris, 80, of Lynndale, Tafton, who died Thursday, May 29, 2008, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, the former Joan Grace Raber.

Born April 6, 1928, in Franklin Twp., NJ, he was the son of the late George W. and Helen H. (Rolison) Morris. He served in the Army during the Korean War and was retired as a transportation dispatcher from Picatinnay Arsenal, Dover, NJ, in 1983. A Tafton resident since 1974, he was a member of the Tafton Fire Department and he loved to fish and play golf.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Cathy and Debbie; one son, Terry Morris; and several grandchildren.

Calling hours were Monday at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St., Hawley. The funeral was held Tuesday, June 3, at 11 am at the funeral home, with Rev. Kathi Heath officiating.

Interment, Pine Grove Cemetery, Paupack.
