Hawley Post 311 Takes Down FMS Generals

Cody McCuen went seven solid innings against the FMS Generals on Tuesday giving up only three runs and striking out six in the winning effort. Hawley Post 311 won the game 5-3 and remain undefeated.

Hawley Post 311 beat the FMS Generals on Tuesday 5-3 in District 15 Legion Baseball action to remain undefeated in the season.
Cody McCuen pitched seven solid innings in the victory striking out six batters while only walking two and allowing three earned runs for the victory on the mound.
Hawley fell behind a run early in the first inning but erupted for five runs in the fifth. Kevin Hendrickson led the charge for Hawley in the inning when he knocked a two-run single, and led the Post 311 hitters with two on the day. Nick DeFebo, Chris Ortiz, Nick Petrillo and Matt Fiorletta all collected one hit a piece in the win.
