Celebrities, superstars, and professional athletes are all converging in Hamlin on Saturday, Aug. 20 at the Masonic Salem Lodge #330 grounds and pavilion on Route 191 to benefit The National Kidney Foundation and the Gift of Life Donor Program as part of the second annual Big Dog Daddy Fest.

The event runs from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine, and is just $10 (kids under 10 are free).

There will be a flea market, concert, chainsaw carving contest, hot dog eating contest, and of course the opportunity to meet and greet (and get autographs) from some of the biggest sporting superstars on the planet.

Chuck “The Real Rocky Balboa” is best known for going 15 rounds with Muhammad Ali and knocking him down to the canvas, and the inspiration behind the “Rocky” movies.

Along with Wepner will be wrestling legends AFA The Wild Samoan, Headshrinker Samu, AFA Jr. the Samoan Storm, L.A. Smooth, and The Big Man Gene Snitsky.

Doo Wop legends Larry Chance and the Earls will perform a concert with special guests and there will be plenty of food, raffles, and autographs to go around.

Sponsors are still needed for this event, please call 570-906-9001 for more information or for advanced tickets.
