AMSkier Insurance, the nation's leading insurer of children's summer camps, announced that a dedicated member of its team, Ed Marks, has moved on to a well-deserved retirement after 19 years of service.
Ed, a resident of Honesdale, joined AMSkier in 1994 and served as Chief Information Officer. As a tribute to his many years of service, the AMSkier family and staff named their latest information systems innovation CheckMarks™.
“When my friend Harry Kiesendahl recruited Ed to join AMSkier, I learned that Ed has wonderful relationship skills as well as an aptitude to learn and develop innovative programs that provide timely and accurate information to help manage our business,” said Henry Skier, AMSkier president. “For almost 20 years, Ed and the Skier family and staff worked together to stimulate best practices for communicating and improving safety practices for our clients.”
Ed first began working for AMSkier as a consultant in 1993 before joining the agency fulltime in 1994. He has been responsible for managing the agency’s information systems, as well as special projects such as data analysis and underwriting compliance.
