1. On Saturday’s season opener of “SNL,” Jay Pharoah assumed the role of President Barack Obama. Obama previously was played by Fred Armisen.


2. More actors have played George W. Bush than any other president. Those who have played Bush include Will Ferrell, Chris Parnell, Darrell Hammond, Will Forte and Jason Sudeikis.


3. Two presidents have had only one person play them: George H.W. Bush (Dana Carvey) and Gerald Ford (Chevy Chase).


4. Three actors have assumed the role of two different presidents. They are Phil Hartman (Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan), Darrell Hammond (George W. Bush and Clinton) and Joe Piscopo (Reagan and Jimmy Carter).


5. Other actors who have played presidents are Michael McKean (Clinton), Randy Quaid (Reagan) and Dan Aykroyd (Carter).
