Suellen M Schmidt, died Monday, November 5, 2012 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale.
She was originally from Hawley, the daughter of the late Joseph and Marion (Kimble) Schmidt. She lived in Greenwich Village, New York City, for 40 years and loved every minute of it.
Suellen was print production director at a number of ad agencies and greatly enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, California, New Mexico and many other places out west including the Grand Canyon, where she took a nine day rafting trip down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. She enjoyed music and attended many of the best concerts including traveling to at least four of Willie Nelson’s farm aid concerts and many other gatherings. A joy in her life.
She is survived by one son: Nicholas J. Strasser of Hawley; a sister: Julie Reser of Hawley; three nephews; Jeff & Diane Reser of NC; Albert S Reser & Ann Brill of Indian Orchard, PA; Andrew & Jude Reser of KY and several great nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Albert K. Reser.
A graveside service will be held Friday, Nov. 9th at 10:30 a.m. at Green Gates Cemetery, Rt. 590, Hawley, PA.
