WALLENPAUPACK- Based on recommendations from the Wallenpaupack Drug and Alcohol Task Force, the School District has announced an excellent opportunity for local parents and interested community members to meet, connect, and discuss topics that impact today's young people.

Parent Nights are coordinated with Wallenpaupack Area Middle School dances, so they will run the same night as the school dances from 7:15-8:45. These nights are open to anyone in the community who would like to attend. Beverages and a light snack will be provided. Each night we will focus on a different topic impacting today's adolescents and a local agency or person will give the presentation.

Their next meeting will be held Friday, March 15th at St. Paul's Lutheran Church - 405 Church Street in Hawley. The topic will be Keeping Your Teens Drug Free - An Important Presentation for Parents by Trooper Scott Davis. A list of currently scheduled presentations can be found at the link in the article on the District web site,www.wallenpaupack.org.
