DINGMANS FERRY - The board meeting for Delaware Valley’s School District was held in the Dingman-Delaware Middle School Cafeteria, on Thursday September 19th at 7 p.m. The meeting started off with a presentation given by the district’s Superintendent, John Bell. Bell presented a power point highlighting Delaware Valley’s School District’s Annual Report. Bell gave a brief walk through of the 130 page report highlighting the key points. The Annual Report includes basic information on the seven schools in Delaware Valley’s School District. This information includes, but is not limited to,

• Annual Revenue Report

• Graduation Rate

• Reports from all of the departments

• Strategic Plan Score Cards.

The Annual Report is posted online on Delaware Valley’s School District’s home page, under headlines.

The Board members also approved the resignation of former Board President, Bill Greenlaw with regret.

"I worked with Bill Greenlaw for many years, he is a wonderful friend," shared new Board President Pam Lufty, "I got to see another side of Bill that many don’t know. He is a very kind, considerate person, extremely dedicated to his beliefs, his dedication to education goes without saying. I was very proud to work with Bill."

Upcoming events in the Delaware School District includes their 7th Annual Warrior Festival on Saturday, September 28th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Warrior Stadium.

There will also be a special meeting for the purpose of appointing a new school board member to fill a vacancy, on Thursday, September 26th in the Delaware Valley School District Administrative Offices.
