EQUINUNK - The 19th Annual Equinunk Car Show, sponsored by the Equinunk Historical Society, and featuring vintage, classic, and rare vehicles will take place as it has done for all these years on Mel Freilich and Caren Raphael’s green and lovely meadow on Pine Mill Road, just outside the village. The event is set Saturday, June 16, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This car show is usually attended by a little under two hundred cars a year, so the competition for the People’s Choice Award and Special Recognition Awards is stiff but always friendly. Although last year was on the rainy side, the sun almost always shines down.

Registration and admission is free. Dash plaques are given to the first 150 cars. Refreshments and food will be available. There will be a bake sale, ice cream stand, a DJ, craft and flea market vendors, a historical book sale, and door prizes.
