WALLENPAUPACK - Seven fifth grade students from the Wallenpaupack North Intermediate School have been chosen to attend a special choral festival this year.

Sophia Brice, Mayah Boogertman, Nathan Freethy, Sara Kovacs, Evie Neenan, Kristian Nistad, Hunter Sasala, and Lalina VanGorden, were chosen to participate in the PMEA District 9  "Chorus Fest" at the Wallenpaupack North Intermediate School, on Friday, May 10th at 7 p.m. 

This festival was hosted by Wallenpaupack Area North Intermediate Choral Director, Loriann Kerber.

There were 150 boys and girls in grades 4 – 6 from all over Northeastern Pennsylvania attending the Elementary Chorus portion of the festival. During the day long event, students sing in rehearsals and work with a guest conductor to perfect the songs that they have been practicing for the concert later that evening.
